We have received great news from our partners in Cities Changing Diabetes Italy. President of the Health City Institute, Chair of Cities Changing Diabetes, and President of the National Committee of the Biosafety, Biotechnology and Life Science of the Prime Minister’s Council Professor Andrea Lenzi has been announced as the first-ever UNESCO Chair On Urban Health.

The role is to improve health and wellbeing in cities through education and research. It is the first UNESCO Chair on urban health in the world, and I am pleased that Cities Changing Diabetes is so closely associated with it.
